New Series: CRISP PACKETS

- by

There’s nothing like putting an old greasy waste product on a £600 scanner, pressing a button and calling it “art”. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to a brand new series right here on versluis.com: CRISP PACKETS.

As the name suggests, I’ve collected empty packets of crisps (or chips for non-UK residents) and make them available as a series of pictures. I’ve also been toying with the idea of making them available as really large prints, because I believe some of them are a work of art. Also, manufacturers change the design of packets regularly, and once they’re gone they’re gone – because usually nobody keeps them around after they’re empty.

These packets are loved by young and old when they’re full of nasty salty greasy deep fried slices of potato, but when they’re empty, we can’t seem to stand the sight of them. That has to stop!

Enjoy the series (if the freaking plugin works that generates these posts).
