The only real trouble we encountered were tiny white spots on some dark parts of the pictures. I understand this is an issue with dirty developing rollers, even though I have cleaned them several times already. They feel completely smooth now, even though they don’t look it. Is this normal? Is this my camera? Is it the emulsion?
My two cents: I love this film! Black and white Polaroids are one thing – but if you get warmish colours like these, a great exposure latitude (visible after scanning), soft contrasts and living breathing pictures, you bet every analogue photo lover’s heart skips a beat. All that from your old Polaroid camera at an instant? It’s too good to be true.
Florian, I bow before you and your team in deepest awe for having pulled this project off. I know you’ve made me and 300 million Polaroid cameras very happy. You have managed to connect me with a medium I thought had gone before I’ve even discovered it.
I know you have planned a lot for the Impossible Project and I’m already looking forward to see your next emulsion, and shooting some PX600 in the meantime.
Thank you for your hard work!
